DO I HAVE A CERTAIN SPORTING LEVEL TO BECOME A DIVE PROFESSIONAL?
YES! First of all, the Dive Professional should always be a role model for other divers. During the seminars, fitness in various disciplines (distance diving, snorkeling or swimming, rescue exercises and treading water) is checked in accordance with the SSI standards.
CAN I FAIL A SEMINAR?
If the candidate does not meet the requirements for passing according to the SSI standards, then a candidate can fail.
But no worry! We will do everything to ensure that you meet the seminar and the requirements according to the SSI standards for taking the diving instructor examination. We realize this by the fact that the minimum requirements for passing the instructor evaluation are not sufficient for us, but always work on achieving the highest possible marks. After that it's just up to you.
Our pass rate is 100% so far ... we want to keep it that way!
WHAT DIFFERENCES THE SSI INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COLLEGE FROM OTHER SSI INSTRUCTOR TRAINING CENTERS?
First of all, it should be said that all SSI Instructor Trainers worldwide are excellently trained Instructor Trainers and train at the highest level and in compliance with the SSI standards applicable in the respective country.
So what is the difference to the SSI Instructor Training College?
As the SSI Instructor Training College, we work in a seminar with several Instructor Trainers and, for support, with Assistant Instructor Trainers at the same time. In this way we can adjust to the candidates individually and raise all candidates to the same level. This also guarantees 1: 1 support in the event that there is a deficit in any discipline.
HOW LONG DOES ITC LAST AND WHEN CAN I DO THE INSTRUCTOR EVALUATION?
With us, an ITC always lasts 7 days. Directly after the ITC, the instructor evaluation usually takes place on the 8th and 9th day.
So prepare for a total of 9 days.
CAN I REGISTER FOR ITC AT THE SSI INSTRUCTOR TRAINING COLLEGE WITHOUT BEING A DIVE CENTER?
YES! You can make a binding registration with us for the ITC and the evaluation. During this time you will be connected to one of our training centers.
As soon as you have found a diving center where you would like to work as a Dive Pro, the corresponding diving center can join its diving center.
DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE ITC AT ONE OF YOUR TRAINING CENTERS OR CAN AN ITC ALSO TAKE PLACE IN MY DIVING SCHOOL?

Everyone comes up against their personal limits during an ITC; it is time to break through this. Experience has shown that the self-doubts associated with this already spread on the 2nd day. As a rule, however, it is a matter of personal misjudgments of the candidate's own ability. We show the candidate his strengths and weaknesses in regular one-on-one interviews and work intensively on eliminating possible weaknesses and deficits.
We never only work on achieving the minimum requirements for the instructor evaluation, but rather see it as our task to achieve the highest level of training and performance.
